About Oregon Log & Burl

Greg Shinn, has been in the specialty wood business for 45 years. He started working with his uncle’s harvesting Maple burls in British Columbia when he was 14. Later he worked on BLM & private timber company lands in Oregon producing Maple & Myrtle burls & logs for the table & veneer markets. 

In 1999 he incorporated as Oregon Log & Burl, Inc. providing quality Pacific coast hardwoods to over seas and domestic customers.
